Air quality monitoring in Houston

Air quality instrumentation with DAQFactory

DAQFactory has a long history in air quality monitoring and atmospheric chemistry. It has been used around the world, from the South Pole to northern Greenland, on land, at sea and in the air. It is used both in the field and in the lab. DAQFactory provides reliable data acquisition, display and logging without programming. A little scripting gets you automation for your calibration loops and anything else you may want the computer to do for you. Unlike other applications, DAQFactory has no on-screen wiring and so is easy for anyone to use.

The most unique feature, handy both in the lab and in the field, is the ability to make changes to your screens, scripts and just about anything else, without stopping and recompiling. This means you if you are in the field taking data and you realize that it might be better to see your data in an XY chart, you can simply drop a new graph on the screen while the system continues to take your data, update your screens, log your data and run your automation scripts. As soon as the graph is configured, the trace will appear. You don't have to wait for more data to collect. The trace will immediately update with new data. This applies to scripts, allowing you to tweak control loops on the fly. It also applies to acquisition, so if you realize halfway through that you need to acquire the temperature of some part of your system you can simply wire up a thermocouple and tell DAQFactory to start acquiring it, add some display elements to show it, and log it to disk. Again, all this is done without stopping the rest of your process.
