DAQFactory is designed for smaller systems. This doesn't mean its any less stable, or offers less features. We simply have not provided the organizational tools required to manage a 10,000 or 100,000 tag system. If your system is that big, you can afford the huge price tag of most SCADA systems. However, if you have a smaller system, say under 3000 tags, why would you want to pay $10,000 to monitor and control 100 tags when you can do it in DAQFactory for under $1000? Why buy a $100,000 semi-truck just to buy a bag of groceries?
