This device driver communicates with the LabJack T series devices and any other devices LabJack might make that utilize their LJM driver. This driver appears as LabJackM within DAQFactory. The LabJack U12 driver appears as LabJack_U12, while the LabJack UD series device driver (for U3/U6/UE9) shows up as LabJackUD. These are the names LabJack gave their driver libraries.
T series devices also support communication over Modbus, especially over Ethernet. If you would prefer to connect using Modbus, please see the section 16.9.5 on Modbus instead, while referencing the T series Modbus Map from the LabJack website.
Sections 17.9.2 and sections 17.9.3 are basically a copy of the section on creating channels in the Guided Tour of chapter 2 except for section 17.9.3.1. If you are just getting started, we recommend going through the guided tour, and following section 2.5.4 which will utilize your new LabJack U series device.
